Owning Borderlands 4 Super Deluxe Edition gets you all of the content from the Bounty Pack Bundle (Bounty Packs 2, 3, 4, and 5) and Vault Hunter Pack (Story Packs 1 and 2), while Borderlands 4 Deluxe Edition gets you the Bounty Pack Bundle. Bounty Packs and Story Packs will also be available for individual purchase.
Story Packs are our most substantial DLCS, including a brand-new Vault Hunter, multiple main missions and side missions set in a new zone of Kairos, new gear to earn, and a bunch of new cosmetics. Each DLC Vault Hunter offers multiple build playstyles with their three unique Action Skills and branching skill trees, just like the base game Vault Hunters!
A malicious cosmic entity threatens Kairos, and madness lingers on the frigid wind. Join forces with the plucky, take-no-mess Ellie—mechanic extraordinaire and daughter of Moxxi—on a quest to destroy an alien monolith and enter the accursed Vault of the Damned.
Play as C4SH the Rogue, an all-new Vault Hunter, and explore a new region on Kairos packed with missions that expand the story of Borderlands 4 in Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned!*
Brave the icy wastes of The Whispering Glacier, a frozen expanse littered with the husks of derelict ships and dark secrets. Though you may see and kill things that mortals were never meant to witness, fear not, for the peculiar proprietor Mancubus Bloodtooth is your humble guide through all things otherworldly.
This content is recommended for Vault Hunters of level 13+. In order to access The Whispering Glacier region, you'll first need to complete the "A Lot to Process" mission in the Fadefields. You can also roll a new Vault Hunter that starts directly at the Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned content at level 13.
*Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned is the first of two post-launch DLC Story Packs coming to Borderlands 4. This content is included with Borderlands 4 Super Deluxe Edition and the Borderlands 4 Vault Hunter Pack, and is also available for separate purchase. Base game required.
Bounty Packs bring new cosmetics, gear, and a mission that culminates in an all-new boss fight! They're designed for early- to mid-game players who are looking to add additional cosmetic flair to their Vault Hunters, with missions you can play at any point during your leveling journey.
Narrative content and the overall theme will vary depending on the Bounty Pack, but the new mission content dives deeper into the lives of Kairos' memorable characters.
Each Bounty Pack also includes a Vault Card with new rewards that you'll earn through gameplay, with 24 cosmetic items to unlock and 4 pieces of rerollable gear on offer. The rerollable gear can be earned as many times as you like, so you can snag a roll with stats that perfectly suit your build!
Playing Borderlands 4 with a Vault Card active gives you more loot and XP via Daily and Weekly Challenges, and can be leveled up at your own pace (no time limits or expiring rewards here). Once you own a Bounty Pack and its respective Vault Card, you can activate that Vault Card via the Vault Card screen in your ECHO menu. Vault Card progression works just like leveling up: it's all driven by how much XP you're gaining. By exploring Kairos, killing enemies, and completing quests, you'll fill up your Vault Card progression in addition to your regular XP!
A wretched malevolence lurks within the abandoned mines of Kairos. For centuries, the Augers have quelled rumblings from the deep by sending human sacrifices to the fabled Stone Demon, but Defiant Calder is determined to end these barbaric rituals for good.
In this all-new mission, delve into an ancient cavern alongside Calder and eliminate threats among rich veins of crystalline Ordonite. Take on new Ordonite-encrusted enemy types, three new minibosses, and a fearsome final boss, all in hopes of scoring powerful new Pearlescent-rarity loot (that's even more Legendary than Legendaries).
Bounty Pack 2 also includes a Vault Card that lets you earn new mecha- and kaiju-themed rewards through gameplay, with 24 cosmetic items and 4 pieces of rerollable gear to unlock!
*Legend of the Stone Demon is the second of five post-launch DLC Bounty Packs coming to Borderlands 4. This content is included with Borderlands 4 Deluxe Edition, Borderlands 4 Super Deluxe Edition, and the Borderlands 4 Bounty Pack Bundle, and is also available for separate purchase. Base game required.
