Yes! If you already own a digital copy of any Borderlands game within the Borderlands Collection: Pandora's Box on Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One and want to complete your collection, the Microsoft Store automatically entitles you to a special price on this bundle!

If you already own a digital or physical copy of Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition or Borderlands: The Handsome Collection for PlayStation®4, or a digital or physical copy of Borderlands 3 on PlayStation®5 or PlayStation®4, and want to complete your collection, you can access a special upgrade offer on Borderlands Collection: Pandora's Box by launching one of these titles and following the in-game instructions.

Borderlands 3 supports crossplay across PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Mac, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, all made possible by SHiFT Matchmaking! When you first launch Borderlands 3, you'll be prompted to enable or disable Crossplay and set a Crossplay Display Name, which is required for SHiFT Matchmaking functionality. Your Crossplay Display Name must meet the following requirements:

• Must be a unique name not already in use by another Borderlands 3 player
• Must be between 3-16 characters long
• Must start with a letter, and is limited to a-z, A-Z, 0-9, or non-consecutive underscore, hyphen, or period/full-stop characters

You can change your display name on your personal account page on the SHiFT website, or Borderlands 3 via the Social menu option from the main menu or pause menu. Simply click Social, switch to the SHiFT tab, and change your Crossplay Display Name in the Account Details section.

SHiFT codes can be redeemed on the Gearbox SHiFT site, or via the in-game Social menu within Borderlands games. If you don't have a SHiFT account, you can create one on the Gearbox SHiFT site! SHiFT accounts are free. You can redeem SHiFT codes on the Gearbox SHiFT site or via the in-game Social menu in Borderlands 3. Each code may be redeemed once (1) per SHiFT account.

Golden Keys are the only way to open the Golden Chest found in each game's hub area, which contains a random assortment of powerful gear that's always appropriate for your current character level. Golden Keys are most typically granted by SHiFT codes, which you can keep an eye out for on Gearbox and 2K's social media channels! To use your Golden Keys, look for the Golden Chest in the following locations:

• Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition: Fyrestone and New Haven
• Borderlands 2: Sanctuary
• Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel: Concordia
• Borderlands 3: Sanctuary III

Diamond Keys are even rarer than Golden Keys, and can only be redeemed as part of the Vault Cards feature of Borderlands 3's Director's Cut add-on content. For details, be sure to check out the Borderlands 3 Vault Cards and Diamond Keys Quick Guide!

Once you've redeemed a SHiFT code via the Gearbox SHiFT site or the in-game Social menu, you may have to take an extra step in-game to add the reward to your inventory! Here's a game-by-game breakdown on the method for receiving your new goodies:

• Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition: Your reward should immediately appear in your inventory once you relaunch the game! You can redeem Golden Keys in Fyrestone and New Haven.
• Borderlands 2: Your reward should immediately appear in your inventory once you relaunch the game! You can redeem Golden Keys in Sanctuary.
• Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel: Find the SHiFT mailbox in the hub town of Concordia in-game, then claim your reward from the respective message! You can also redeem Golden Keys in Concordia.
• Borderlands 3: Check your SHiFT inbox via the SHiFT menu in-game, then claim your reward from the respective message! You can redeem Golden Keys aboard Sanctuary III.

Yes! If you already own a digital copy of any Borderlands game within the Borderlands Collection: Pandora's Box on Nintendo Switch and want to complete your collection, the Nintendo eShop automatically entitles you to a special price on this bundle! 

If you own a physical copy of Borderlands Legendary Collection or Tales from the Borderlands: Deluxe Edition for Nintendo Switch, redeem the respective code in-box to enable the offer on the Nintendo eShop. 

If you own a physical copy of Borderlands 3: Ultimate Edition on Nintendo Switch, download any of the add-on content listed below (all of which can be download for free with your copy of Borderlands 3: Ultimate Edition) to enable the offer on the Nintendo eShop:
